Understanding Antecedents to the Satisfaction of Using Learning Management System: an Empirical Study of Accounting Students

ABSTRACTThis research was aimed to identify the factors affecting the Accounting students' satisfaction of using Google Classroom as one of the Learning Management System (LMS). This research analyzed the effect of perceived enjoyment, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness on the students' satisfaction. The sample in this research was 108 Accounting students. The data were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 2.0. The research results showed that the level of satisfaction of the Google Classroom was affected positively and significantly by the perceived enjoyment, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness. Moreover, this research also discussed the impacts of the results both theoretically and practically.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan mahasiswa akuntansi dalam menggunakan google classroom yang merupakan salah satu learning management system (LMS). This study aims to determine the antecedents that influence accounting students' intention to pursue careers as public accountants. This study's Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT) framework is extended by adding a Role Model and Calling. The participants in this study are 204 accounting students who have taken the auditing course. The findings of this study reveal that calling has a significant positive effect on accounting students' outcome expectations and intention to pursue careers as public accountants. The role model significantly affects self-efficacy and intention to pursue a career as a public accountant. Regrettably, outcome expectancy does not affect a student's intention. This study discusses the practical consequences of encouraging students to choose careers as public accountants through data analysis

Aplikasi Pembelian Tiket Pesawat: Memahami Determinan Niat untuk Melanjutkan Penggunaan

Currently airplane passengers in Indonesia have a wide selection of airplane ticket purchase applications (PTP Application). The existence of various PTP applications in Indonesia makes it easy for users to stop using the PTP application and move to another PTP application. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the customer's intention to continue the use of PTP Application. This study uses the expectation confirmation model (ECM) by adding a trust variable. 203 respondents participated in this study. The model was tested using SmartPLS 2.0. The results of the study show that satisfaction is an important variable that influences the customer's intention to continue using PTP applications. In addition, trust and perceived usefulness have a significant positive effect on the intention to continue using PTP applications. Confirmation and usefulness perceptions have a significant positive effect on satisfaction and trust. This study discusses results of research both in relation to the theoretical and practical context

The existence of Child Identity Card shows the government's seriousness in fulfilling the rights of Indonesian citizens who are still underage to obtain public service rights that are equal to adults. The collaboration between the Office of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) of Wonosobo Regency to issue Child Identity Card in Sigedang is considered effective in targeting the community directly so that people can be more familiar with the functions and benefits of having Child Identity Card. This research belongs to the type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach which means this research describes a real phenomenon. There were 3 informants in this study as informants. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat memicu munculnya ancaman siber. Dampaknya tidak hanya pada bidang teknologi saja, namun juga mengancam berbagai bidang kehidupan seperti Pertahanan keamanan negara, ekonomi, ideologi, politik, sosial, dan budaya. Sehingga diperlukan adanya inovasi teknologi berupa cyber security yang handal dan terintegrasi dalam perlindungan data dan keamanan informasi semacam Benteng Digital yang mampu menangkal ancaman. Namun, cyber security di Indonesia dinilai masih belum cukup tangguh. Untuk memperkuat cyber security di Indonesia, sebaiknya dilakukan penguatan lima fondasi dasarnya, meliputi: kepastian hukum, prosedur tindakan teknis, struktur organisasi; capacity building, dan pendidikan bagi pengguna perangkat siber. Salah satu bentuk inovasi cyber security adalah sistem control access dan firewall. The impact is not only in the field of technology, but also threatens various fields of life such as national security, economic, ideological, political, social and cultural defense. So that there is a need for technological innovation in the form of cyber security that is reliable and integrated in data protection and information security such as a Digital Fortress that is able to ward off threats. However, cyber security in Indonesia is considered not strong enough. To strengthen cyber security in Indonesia, it is advisable to strengthen the five basic foundations, including: legal certainty, technical action procedures, organizational structure; capacity building, and education for cyber device users.
